Lorri and Wesley are some of those people that you instantly become best friends with. Their genuine personalities, overall ease and positive attitude just makes them people you want to know. I was so thrilled they picked Olive Park for their engagement session because it is one of my favorite places in the whole city to shoot. Unfortunately for us, Chicago’s weather did not want to cooperate so even though it was a bit cold (and windy), Lorri ROCKED it in a gorgeous navy dress – you would never have guessed Lorri was freezing her butt off during this first part of the session!
Since Spring had not exactly sprung yet and Olive Park’s beautiful trees were not covered in greenery, we decided to take advantage of our proximity to Navy Pier to capture some more gorgeous pictures of these two love birds. What better way to celebrate the two of them than by taking those classic photos in the middle of Navy Pier?! This photo session was everything: epic, romantic, genuine, natural and completely perfect.
To Lorri and Wesley, you two are a dream and I seriously cannot wait for your wedding (is it August 2020 yet!?). I hope you cherish these memories we captured that day, and remember what a wonderful time this is for you. Although it is crowded with stressful moving (not once, but twice) in the next month, I hope you all take time to enjoy this amazing time in your life and soak in everything you can as an engaged couple!

I agree, they are a great couple! Beautiful photos, too.
